Our stay was marked by the outstanding service from the staff, including the attentive Pierre, whose efficient correspondence added to our anticipation. Upon arrival, we were welcomed with a thoughtful drink, which is always a nice touch, particularly after a long journey. the air conditioning provided welcome relief from the heat, enhancing the comfort of our stay. Dining at the hotel surprises with its traditional yet imaginative offerings, including exceptional vegetarian options curated by the hospitable Mme Paris. While the dinner price of 75 euros per head initially seemed steep, the quality and freshness of the homemade jams at breakfast, alongside the delightful atmosphere, justified the expense. In assessing the value proposition, Le Pont Romain strikes a balance that is refreshing. It may not boast ostentation, but it delivers a memorable experience that resonates with those seeking authentic luxury at a reasonable price.
